GIZ, UN Volunteers and the HDR Office have launchend the Human Development Report 2019 in Bonn. This year’s report deals with inequalities in the 21st Century and how they weaken social cohesion and economic growth, and damage people’s trust in government, institutions and in each other.
The Training Course on Inequality was going into a second round: Interactive, inclusive and action-oriented designing of policies to tackle inequality. The course combined traditional lectures, knowledge-sharing sessions and open discussions with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
